[a special report from our correspondent Franny somewhere in the Ozarks]
Unlike the Lilies of the Field, the Rosy Periwinkle is more than just a pretty flower. This semi-tropical member of the Dogbane family is chock-full of the alkaloids vincristine and vinblastine, both of which are useful in the treatment of childhood leukemia and Hodgkin’s Disease. Also, ‘Rosy Periwinkle’ would be a great name for a stripper. Rosy Periwinkle, you get a 1.9!
Posted by ladd at February 23, 2003 12:12 PM | TrackBackI thought Rosy Periwinkle is what Borroughs called his boyfriend's puckered sphincter.
