I must say that I am very pleased to see a mainstream application on PvT. It's good to know that shitty little apps like sMailing can find themselves in the same group as some supposedly REAL programs.

I can either press "Reconnect" (which I don't want to do) or "Cancel". (Cancel what?) And of course it won't let me quit, and it still blocks the shutdown.
Once I cancel, I get another modal dialog box asking me to log in. I don't want to log in. I want to shut down. But it's still blocking the shutdown, and I still can't quit. Argh. Gotta hit "Cancel" again.
Now I can quit. Yay. Shutdown continues. Y!M sucks.

I have no control over Yahoo Messenger, nor do I provide technical support for Yahoo Messenger. That said, you can uninstall the Macintosh version of Yahoo Messenger by dragging its icon to the trash.
I don't believe you can delete a Yahoo ID, other than by contacting Yahoo technical support.
