So you'll be an American farmer-man,
Raising fancy chickens by the sea
Which defy all earthly descriptions
You'll be raising fancy chickens by the sea.

With money you saved (you're just a peasant)
You bought a farm and now you find it rather pleasant
At this magnificent location by the sea, you'll be,
Raising fancy chickens by the sea.

Completely filling your brand new non-stick stock pot,
It's warm and golden, from the oven that's wide open.
It has a flavor both happy and sad
Built up from various known spices.

You enter the room with great caution
Though no one at the table's even watching
They are transfixed, they are forgetting just to breathe
They are so taken by your chicken fricassee.

Ah yes, thank you, U D Mann. Being a Finn doesn't make me sound good in "da hood"... MR-T rocks my world...

I like big chickens and I cannot lie
You other roosters can't deny
When a hen walks in with an itty-bitty neck
And a big head in your face, you get sprung!

Dear God where do you find these chickens?

Posted by: Fringe on October 13, 2003 09:32 AM

They just showed up one day. At first we thought they were migratory chickens but they kept hanging around. We fed them a little corn and kitchen scraps. Then the days turned into weeks and, well, we sort of lost control of the situation.

Now we can't go outside anymore.

It's hard to tell from the photo, but Lydia is actually 12 feet tall. And mean! She gives me the shivers.

AHH!! Huge chicken! and behind it a huge pumpkin! And next to it some fallen huge leaves!! The GMC has finally unleashed its Über-Giganto Ray® upon us all!! Flee in terror as there is no one to save us! Oh wait....maybe its all forced perspective like in that Lord of the Rings film I've heard a few stories about. Okay, no need to panic....except for the fact we are all still under the heel of oppression by a great evil that we can not see except for the fact hes right in plain sight everyday. And he even looks like a monkey.

Just a note... here in Las Vegas the MGM Grand has released plans to replace the large MGM Lion with the new MGM Fancy Chicken. Since the lovely Lydia is the exact right size for the colossal statue that graces the Casino entrance, the entire project will be based on her disturbingly sensuous, come hither appearance.
